With so many recruiting websites out there, players have so many different rankings next to their names.

So, we wanted to make it easier to see where five of the county’s top 2014 prospects stand just two weeks before signing day. We took the top five players from the PBGametime Class of 2014 Big Board and examined their ratings on 24-7 Sports, Rivals and ESPN. Check it out.
1. Palm Beach Central OL Kc McDermott, Enrolled at Miami
24-7 Sports: McDermott is listed as the country’s 59th best recruit in the Class of 2014 and has four stars next to his name. He is ranked as the eighth best offensive lineman on 24-7 Sports’ list.
Rivals: The four-star recruit did not make Rivals’ Top 100. McDermott is the No. 113 overall recruit.
ESPN: McDermott received his best rating from ESPN. The Palm Beach Central OL is ranked as the 36th best overall recruit in the Class of 2014 and the ninth best in the state. He still received four stars.
Where is he going?: McDermott is already enrolled at Miami. He is a Hurricane.
2. Cardinal Newman WR Travis Rudolph, FSU verbal commit
24-7 Sports: Rudolph is rated as a five-star recruit and as the country’s 23rd best player in the Class of 2014. He is also listed as the country’s second best wide receiver and the state’s second best player.
Rivals: This recruiting website has Rudolph as the top 2014 prospect in Florida. Rudolph is ranked as the No. 11 overall recruit and has five stars next to his name. Rivals gave just 33 players from around the country five stars and the Cardinal Newman product is one of them.
ESPN: Unlike 24-7 Sports and Rivals, ESPN rates Rudolph as a four-star recruit. He is 40th on the website’s list of 2014 prospects, but he is ranked as the 10th best recruit in the state. Rudolph is also listed as the sixth best wide receiver in the Class of 2014.
Where is he going?: The 6-foot-1, 185-pound WR is verbally committed to Florida State. The Seminoles visited with Rudolph at Cardinal Newman on Thursday to solidify his commitment. Rudolph looks ready to sign with FSU on signing day.
3. Dwyer WR Johnnie Dixon, Enrolled at Ohio State
24-7 Sports: Dixon is a four-star recruit and he’s ranked as 24-7 Sports’ 62nd best overall prospect in the Class of 2014. He is the seventh best at his position.
Rivals: The 2013 state champion is ranked as the No. 117 overall recruit in the Class of 2014 and the 18th best in the state. Dixon is a four-star recruit.
ESPN: Like McDermott, Dixon received his best rating from ESPN. He is listed as the 34th best overall recruit in the Class of 2014 and he has four stars next to his name. Dixon is also ranked as the eighth best recruit in the state and the fifth best wide receiver for the Class of 2014.
Where is he going?: Dixon is enrolled at Ohio State. He has already made his decision.
4. Park Vista S Marques Gayot, Miami verbal commit
24-7 Sports: The three-star recruit is ranked as the 78th best safety in the Class of 2014. He’s also listed as the 125th best player in Florida. Gayot is not part of 24-7 Sports’ Top247.
Rivals: This recruiting website has Gayot as a three-star prospect.
ESPN: The three-star recruit is rated as the 147th best 2014 prospect in the state. At his position, Gayot is ranked as the 74th best.
Where is he going?: Gayot is verbally committed to Miami. It looks like Gayot is serious about his commitment, as he has said he has closed the recruiting process. I would be surprised if he does not sign with Miami on Feb. 5.
5. Dwyer S Shawn Boone, Finalists: NC State, Penn State, Arkansas
24-7 Sports: The three-star safety is the 83rd best 2014 safety in the country and the 133rd best 2014 player in the state.
Rivals: Boone is not part of Rivals’ rankings, but he is listed as a three-star safety.
ESPN: Like the other two websites, Boone is rated as a three-star safety by ESPN. He is also ranked as the 82nd best 2014 recruit at his position and the 155th best 2014 recruit in the state.
Where is he going?: Boone will announce his college decision on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Palm Beach Ale House (2161 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach). Boone will pick between NC State, Penn State and Arkansas. The Wolfpack appear to be the favorites to land the Dwyer product.
